any V6's come in the shop to check fitment?

the V8 and V6 share the same part number for the PSE.. so i would assume the cat back would be the same?

Hey Apertaure, thanks for the feedback and yes group buys are welcome if we can get a few buyers in it. We don't have Videos or Dyno results yet but we are waiting for vehicle to come in and have it all done. Here is a video of a 2011 Cayenne Turbo that Sonnen Porsche just did for a customer with the Cat-bypass pipes and our new Maxflo mufflers with tips. It sounds really deep and aggressive from the video, and the dealer and customer loved it. Let me know what you would like to do.

Hey rijowysock, we haven't seen the V6 yet but we will sometime soon, just have to wait for someone to come in or mail us his stock 2nary catalytic converters. PM me if your interested in doing that and I will take care of you on the new pipes.
thanks,

Hey Alex... NO PM received. Can you confirm that your Catbypass does not void warranty and will pass emmissions test? Thanks!

Hi, it will not affect the warranty or emissions in any way since they are just 2ndary catalytic converters which are unnecessary. We spoke right when I was about to send it so i just held off.
thanks,

Alex, I am interested in the bypass pipes ('11 Cayenne S). How close is the sound to PSE? Thanks.

Hey Nedino, the catbypass pipes will wake the car up in power and also make a deeper and more sporty exhaust sound. I haven't heard the PSE on the cayenne but I know how and what they do, so the bypass pipes will sound better and make more of an improvement without affecting emissions or anything else. PM me if you have any questions or if you are interested.
thanks,

I pulled the trigger on the bypass pipes from Fabspeed - per FedEx tracking I should be getting them today (Feb. 25) but more likely tomorrow. I asked my dealer for an estimate on installation and they quoted 2 labor hours @ $140 for a total of $280. I think I will do the install myself. The dealer also noted that the bypass pipes would "void certain parts of your emissions warranty”.

I will provide more updates on the install and impressions (likely sound clips) on OEM vs. Fabspeed sound.

I am not affiliated with Fabspeed in any way.

Apparently one source is providing incorrect information. So Porsche is installing secondary catalytic converters that serve no function? Seems odd that they would go to the trouble and expense of installing parts on the car that don't do anything. Can someone explain this to me please?
