Default I really need to wash this thing...

Drove to Western NY (near Buffalo) and back... one salt encrusted Cayenne.
I cant event get in without getting salt on me... bleh

Funny thing is I came home to way more snow than there was at my in-laws upstate!

Nice job putting the beauty to work. I usually just spray off the whole car with CR spotless when there is too much crud. Deionized water ensures that there is no hard water spots. I never wash the car in the traditional way during those months unless weather is above 50F. I always handwash my cars and never take it to the auto car wash. Before winter the paint should gets clayed and protected with sealant (or wax) Sealant affords more durable protection in the winter months. Most nights upon return to my home, I use a garden hose hooked to a garden sprinkler and move one feet every 3 minutes to give the undercarriage a thorough rinse to get any salt off (although in my area they usually use loose gravel for traction and not salt). Hope this helps.

Took it to the local "Hand wash" place, it's already a mess again but I feel better

Proving to be a good snow vehicle!

I need to post up a shot of my G-wagen. You can barely read the "G550" model on the back it has so much dirt on it.

It was 50 degrees and sunny here in the mountains over the weekend. I washed and waxed the cars out in the driveway. Quite unexpected for late December, but I'll take it!

Great !!! Don't let all the salt and road grimme stay on the car too long. Get it washed even it's still crummy weather. It'll do wonders for the paint, rubber, metal surfaces of the car. The things they put on roads is way to aggressive for your vehicle's paint finish.

That pic almost looks like an action photo - the Cayenne blasting through the snow drifts. But then I see a lighthouse and wonder what's going on...

I am in Cleveland. Anyone want to compete for bad weather shots?

Funny enough that it was 55 here yesterday.

My cars get covered in sale. One big reason I did go with the Silver TReg and not black.
