I am looking for a larger wheel/tire combination. Probably 20" wheels with a larger outside diameter tires. I am not a big fan of the wheel gap and will lower it in the spring but in the mean time I am thinking slightly larger wheel/tire combos may help fill it in. Has anyone done this to their pepper, if so what size did you go with and did you have to get the speedo recalibrated? Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

If you decide on a 20" rim, PAG recommends 275/40R20 as a suitable tire size which will keep the same overall diameter and not affect speedo accuracy. You can use an on-line tire size calculator www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc to determine how wide/tall a tire you can install w/o affecting speedo accuracy or gearing. Make sure that you don't install something too big that may cause rubbing or intereference with body/suspension components.
Just don't forget to change the tire settings on your cluster display via the column-mtd stalk.

On an '06 Cayenne, I believe the largest option available was the 20" wheel, and I think that will be the biggest option you can select in the display.

Has anyone put on a 275/45/20 tire and if so can you post a pic. It's 29.8 inches tall where as stock is 29" tall. Would there be any rubbing issues

on a 06, my 20" came with Diamaris 275 x 40, this when the rims are 9" on front and 10" on rear. On the rears, the 275 on 10" wide were looking "bad".
The next set I quit Michelin for Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, and was very happy, less noise, less tracking, same or even better mileage, and, to my eyes, looking much nicer.
On the third set, I kept Vredestein, 275 x 40 front, but put 315 x 35 on rears. Walls now look good, rim is now protected, and these are great.
Only one "big" problem, I want to CPO the car now, and, ..no way Jose with these tires !
So, I need a temp solution, but, I will definitively keep the stagered configuration.
Note that I got the staggered idea from this forum, but do not remember who made it first !
