Default Auburn Metallic

My dealer is supposed to have one in this week or next

in the meantime, I found these pictures
kinda hard to get a fair idea with artificial lighting
looks like color choice will be between umber (fairly safe) and auburn (more of a love it or hate it)

JSF, I really am having a hard time deciding on the Umber vs Auburn. I would love to hear other people's take/comments on these two color choices. I am spec'ing a 2011 CS with cognac/espresso interior and do not know which exterior would complement that interior.

I'm going with espresso interior

either exterior color would look good with your cognac/espresso interior

I think the Auburn exterior will be similar to Nordic Gold in popularity/resale
i.e. not very popular and a difficult resale (hence my comment about love it or hate it color)

if you're worried about resale, play it safe with black/white or silver
if not, choose the path less traveled and go with Auburn

My color choices are the same. Right now I am leaning towards Umber/Umber+Cream or Auburn/Luxor Beige. Seen Umber/Luxor Beige at my dealer. I love it, the wife does not. SHe wants a color that stands out more. Has anyone seen a yellow one?

It's an interesting color. But not for me. It would be better with more red pigment IMO.

Nice, thank you for posting pics of Auburn metallic. I live three hrs away from any Porsche dealer and rely on such pics. Color looks okay. But that tire dressing

Does the Panamera come in the same color - or is it just very similar

I really liked the color on the Panamera -- Although I am partial to black Porsches.

They had a lot of 11's at the dealer the other day -- from all accounts its a better automobile than the previous versions. The original model is a better looking car from all sides IMO. The 11's are very feminine looking compared to previous versions. What is up with the wheel arch trim !!

Not sure what I am going to get next.

This color is very similar to the color in Nissan Murano. And their color looks better, actually. Doesn't work on the p!g, IMHO.
