I looked at a black '09 manual GTS at Danbury Porsche. Asking price was $68k with 10k miles and there was some room to negotiate. It was a CPO car with 2 year warranty after the original warranty expires. Porsche of Fairfield had a silver one with same price/miles. Keep in mind that if you have a trade in, you only pay sales tax on the differential by going through a dealer. I'd suggest you drive a Tip, just to compare to the manual. I went with a Tip after trying both. Happy hunting! These are awesome cars.

I recently retired and my GTS is the first car I've owned with automatic except for my business cars when I was in sales. I don't have to fight stop and go traffic anymore, but have run into enough long interstate delays due to accidents and construction that I don't care for the manual anymore.
If it were just a club car for sunny and/or track days, manual would be preferred.
