1.8 inches longer, panamera like interior, goofy triangular shaped steering wheel finally gone, weight drops by 400 lbs thanks to more aluminum body panels. exterior still in camo but shot of headlights look more cayman/boxster like.

It looks like an over ambitious mazda tribute with body kit.......
I dont like the thick band intake area front end......
I had a good feeling about Cayenne's 1 and 2 generation body styles and Panamera.........but in real life I am not feeling this one yet.......maybe it just needs some polish and smoothing out to look organic and naturally a part of Porsche family genetics.....

Not to offend anyone, but I just love the exterior design of the very 1st generation Cayenne! It represents a genuine Porsche feeling when compared to the face-lifted 2nd generation Cayenne IMHO, that's why I ended up buying the 2006 CS.

Ok, again we are the original misfits from the Porsche family..........crossing over as SUVs.
Some people call 911's, VW bugs with 40 years of steroid abuse.
Other people laugh at 928s look, personally that is the car that started it all for me, the only hot wheel my parents could never throw away, I would not let them
.
I guess that is where real marketing/impressioning starts to condition us as consumers, hot wheels....![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
But your post made me think.......it does really suck and I think with the 911, boxster spyder, panamera, and larger current "more Porsche-esq" SUV cayennes, all have filled majority of all the niches out there, and this smaller SUV(my back seats are not that roomy already) comes along?
Now lets wait and see the sales reports and determine if VW has the best marketing development department in the world.

No matter what Porsche does, those people with Porsche "brand loyalty" in their mind will last forever.
(I would never buy Panamera w/ that price tag the interior size, but to my surprise, they are going pretty quick according to the sales report.)
