Appointment for service (again!) next Monday. I wonder if they'll keep it for a week again this time.
Intermittant is usually the way the compressor acts up when it starts to have issues. Ours currently only faults on hot days, but I'm sure it will progress.

Let us know what they find.

Default Still Not Fixed

So far the car has been in the Service Department for 10 days (2 X 5 days) out of the 37 days that I've owned it in attempts to fix the air suspension. I was supposed to pick it up today, since they thought it was fixed.

Service Adviser emailed to let me know that the suspension had dropped again overnight, so it's still not fixed. This is getting to be very frustrating! Keep in mind that the car only has 1,000 miles on the clock.

Thumbs down Arrggghhhh!

The latest word from the dealer's service adviser this afternoon is that PCNA P-tech says to park my Transsyberia next to another Transsyberia over the weekend, and measure the ride height on both come Monday morning.

Sounds like PCNA P-tech doesn't have a clue either. This sure reminds me of MBUSA and the G500; and that's not good!. I wonder if I can convince them to do a buy back.

In addition to a lawyer, if you can find an expert witness, say an engineer type with perhaps an axe to grind, that might help...or so Larry once told me.

The Georgia Lemon Law is pretty straight forward, and is written so you can self help/do it yourself. All forms and the steps to take are published on-line. The Secretary of State's office is available for guidance and assistance at no charge. I've already registered with them. They only recommend an attorney if you are not able to reach a fair settlement/agreement.

Since I've already suggested the dealer advise PCNA that the Lemon Law clock is ticking, I'm hoping that will help move things along.

I'm pretty sure that your definition of fair and PCNA's definition of fair would take a lawyer to negotiate...just a guess.

IMHO, your dealer could care less. The mythical check won't come from the dealer, but PCNA. Your dealer may be asked to store the car until the PCNA Litigation Hearse comes by to pick up the P!g, which will probably end up at auction.

You could be right. Hopefully, it won't have to get to that stage.

I don't know Larry, so I'll just take this case one day at a time - and counting!

Picked it up after a week in the dealer's service. They said that car is within spec and is acting normally. They claim this is confirmed by PCNA's P-Tech.

The compressor ran noisily and sporadically for the first part of the drive home - not really any different than what it was doing when I left it with them.

This is not what I would have expected from a $90k vehicle. It's more like a $20k used Jeep. My 10 yr old MB G500 with 70,000 miles and A/T tires runs smoother and quieter on the road than this Cayenne.

Time to see if I can unload it without too much damage; and then there's the consideration of what to replace it with.

Larry's dead, killed by Cayenne ownership and PCNA legal battles.
R.I.P my friend...

But on the bright side, I am sleeping with his widow.

This is apparently the standard response when they don't know WTH to do with the problem.
