Default PDCC failure?

Twice in as many weeks, I received this message while driving - WARNING CHASSIS SYSTEM

The car leans like a f****g tanker and the sport button is disabled.

Stop the car, shut off, restart, everything is fine. Guess I'll be calling the dealer this afternoon.

Perhaps the PDCC control module going bad and trying to protect itself? Smart move to get it to the dealer in short order. Warranty opportunity IMHO.

I've had the warning 3 times in different situations, could never reproduce for a dealer so nothing was ever done.
but, one time was during a road trip in the middle of nowhere in CA so I called the porsche roadside assistance number. the phone person did have a reset procedure that worked after two attempts.
I can't remember what it was, wasn't as simple as your shut off-start up. maybe give them a call and see what happens. at least you get a record of the event with porsche for the future.

nice stick.

Toby, yeah it's my truck's first warranty service. I called the dealer where I bought my wife's 650 vert (they are MB, BMW, Audi and Porsche), their first available loaner was Nov 24 Called a closer dealer and they don't give loaners if you didn't purchase your vehicle there, but they were nice enough to reserve a Cayenne loaner for me after discussing it with them.

k722095848492034 - I'll call Porsche if it happens again. Thanks for the tip.

Service appt is on Monday, I'll post up if they find anything.

Took the car to Rockville Porsche here in MD. Haven't picked it up yet, but they called and told me the error was due to a stone lodged in the pins of one of the connectors. Problem solved.

There were 2 recalls, one related to airbags and the other PDCC. I'll post up the campaigns when I get the car back.

The dealer gave me a new (120 miles) Cayenne V6 as the loaner. I liked the touch screen navi vs. the older style on my 2008.

The campaigns performed were W907 and WA06. Not a ****ing clue what they were, since their single service advisor/manager/whatever was not around when I picked up my GTS.

I'm not impressed with their service overall - it was mediocre.

I told them to verify the programming and operation of the trailer hitch wiring, since I was not able to connect to 3 different trailers. 2 would give me the ! on the dash, the other one did absolutely nothing. Their answer was that it's the trailer.

The driver's seat squeaks when I push in the clutch. They claimed it was the seatbelt and adjusted it. Receipt says they verified no more squeaked. ****ing thing squeaked when I pushed in the clutch to start the car.

My car isn't smooth under 3200rpm. They couldn't reproduce. I didn't want to waste time road testing with them to demonstrate. I'll head to another dealer instead.

Guess I'll be heading up to Sun Motorcars, which is where I take my BMW.

They didn't seem to **** anything up, so I got that going for me... which is nice.

... and their techs didn't give me a warm fuzzy about my GTS.

"Wow, this is the first manual we've seen."

Surge brake equipped trailers will sometimes also produce "funny things".

Besides, what would I know about 1D6 ? It's not like I ever owned a Cayenne...

No surge brakes.

I towed a friend's utility trailer (no brakes), very lightweight and it didn't see that at all. I don't think it saw the Uhaul utility trailer (no brakes) and my Brimar here...

... got the !. It has LED lighting.
