it's been a tough vehicle maintenance year...to top it off I now need all around brakes and rotors too, just a petite payment of yet another $1800. I think I am experiencing the true cost of Cayenne ownership (I see ltc smiling) and wondering if I should consider trading it for a Jap..... car??? Cayenne goes to the better half in 2 weeks.

BTW: my thanks to 3 preceding posting members for their helpful comments. Sam

How can labor be only couple hours if it's underneath the intake manifold?
The intake mainfold comes off in no time! Turbo takes a liitle longer, more hoses and vacuume lines.

And wow, almost a grand for a starter!
Tell me about it!!

You can save a quite a bit on the brakes if you DIY. The engine stuff i leave it for the dealership to deal with.
