Default Low Dust Brake Pads ?

Are there any good aftermarket dust free or low dust brake pads for the Cayenne? This baby has only less than 200 miles on it; and the wheels are already a real mess.

I had the same problem with my MB ML, and switched to Rotex Gold. Same good performance as OEM, but no dust.

I'm ready to do something similar with this car now. Recommendations?

Thanks. I appreciate those who are willing to be helpful. "HBS" or HPS?

I've moderated and administered the largest English language G-wagen Internet Forum for almost 10 years; and yes, the same old questions repeat themselves again and again. However, folks still respond to help there. Thanks for being one of those folks here.

And some of us here remember and appreciate your "trojan" efforts. Thank you, and hopefully you will be treated on this site with much respect and appreciation.

Helpful? Are you fingers broken?
I provided a link to the search function....just for kicks, I typed in 2 short simple words "low" and "dust" and asked it to search just the Cayenne forum:

Yup, looks like lots of interesting reading, including a post by Mudman2 regarding the aforementioned pads.

BTW, STFF is an old P!g Pen tradition, sort of similar to Fore!

ITC

You are great guy, but sometimes you are full of yourself, and try to be too clever by half.

Just because you had an issue with Porsche (however legitimate) doesn't give you the right to ride rough shod over various posters.

It is time to for you do an ego check and stop living in the past..irrespective of your engineering capabilities or insights.

Good engineers recognize that designs evolve, weaknesses are eliminated, and "pedantic" carping wears thin.

Maybe it is time to move on!

"trojan" ?? I don't understand. PM me with the translation so we don't keep stirring up the trolls.

Colm,

Exactly what does an issue with 1D6 have to do with a 'STFF', followed by a link to the search function, followed by a link to numerous posts answering the question asked?

I realize that sarcastic humor may not translate well onto a keyboard, but I think you're reaching a bit. IMHO, STFF (given its history here in the forum) isn't what I would call 'running rough shod'.

The next thing you know, we'll be having a discussion regarding clear bras and the companies that install them....what's that expression, 'people in glass houses...'
