Give Brian Buxton a shout. I just used Brian to arrange next day pickup in one day from LA to WA state. My second experience using Brian and quite happy with the results.

We use Reliable Carriers for enclosed, long-distance transport. Never had a problem.

Dependable auto shippers (DAS) might be cheaper

DAS is cheaper, but not worth it. Had my Carrera shipped from California to New York and first of all they promised a week and it took 24 days . No communication . I had to call them constantly. THEN after teh car arrived on Friday night they never told me, and isntead They left my Porsche in a dirty lot without a cover over the weekend and it collected all this soot and d irt. So much for paying extra for an enclosed carrier.

INSTEAD I would highly highly recommend you go with InterCity. i used from them from NY to Miami. They are professionals all the way. these guys ship Nicolas Cage's ferraris, they do the GT2s and GT3s for Porsche NA. These guys communicate the whole way down. They got it down there faster than the quote. They have one of the only fleets of hydrolic trailers in the business (think of it like a Porsche elevator, LOL).

You know that your baby will be safe with InterCity. I recommend them highly and without any reservation. Call Dave Wilson (he's one of the VPs) directly.

PM me if you have any questions.

Also another thing -- be wary of companies that promise you cheap quotes -- find out if they actually transport the cars themselves, or whether they are simply a third party intermediary that farms out the work to subcontractors -- InterCity owns all their own trailers and employs all the drivers so you know that when you book with InterCity that you wil get excellent service.

Do a quick search on the 993 forum for more recommendations, this was just discussed a couple of weeks ago.

I used http://www.uship.com

I received 25 quotes the first day and it saved me $1,000-$1,500.

Shipped 22' Malibu Ski boat from S. Cali to Chicago.

I used Reliable (www.weshipyourcar.com) on the recommendation of a couple car guys I know. Good service, car stayed on the truck (no transfers at depots or moves at drop offs) and it arrived with no damage.
