Just for fun, I test drove a 2006 BMW X5 for comparison. It drives nice, and had great brakes, but there are so many on the road, and I prefer the look and handling of the cayenne...

I was also looking at the Touareg but wifey doesn't like the look of it so its off our list. I was offered a brand new '08 V8 yesterday for 10K off list as an opening offer (39k v 49k). So there is lots of room for bargains i'm guessing.
