Default I dont think my wife is really diggin her Cayenne

She is used to the room a Seqouia provides, and she doesnt seem to be adapting to the smaller space.
I'm giving her a few more weeks , and if I dont start getting some positive feedback, I'm going to have to put it on the market and either keep the Seqouia she has or get her a newer one.

The Cayenne isn't for everybody, especially if size is a key requirement. It's pretty big on the outside, but inside it's not especially roomy, particularly in the cargo area, as you know. When my kids were younger, the Cayenne wouldn't have worked. At this stage in my life, it works very well.

Tell her to hang in there - maybe she'll get used to it!

My wife loves her Cayenne S. We would rather put stuff in a rooftop car carrier than to have something that may not handle and ride optimumly.

We had a new R350, and got rid of that quick. It had all the space you can ask for with 7 seats, but the ride was just too numb and MB like. It really depends on the person.

Ditto. I use a Thule cartop carrier when going on trips or need to haul people and luggage. low drag and no problem. around town it shouldn't be a problem.. tell her to empty her rolling purse more often.

BTW, this was taking stuff up to dorm for #2 son. Fully loaded U-haul and fully loaded rear with seats down and two pax. 75-80MPH.. absolutely no problem. 13MPG-ish. and handled and only a slight decline in power. REALLY!

No, just the bride's 2005 Excursion (daily driver)
She traded in her 2000 Excursion when they announced they were shutting down the Excursion line and got the 2005.

Weird thing is I offered her any car she wanted....she wanted another Excursion. Go figure.

Cayenne replacement? I think not. She laughs when she sees one drive by.

We got one as a loaner for a week and loved it.
That was when we had 1 kid, we have 2 now.
She was also having so much fun driving the loaner that she wasnt realizing how much room she was giving up in the back.

Its an 01. It has been a great vehicle. I changed out the cheap *** oem disks for some slotted ones when they warped. Otherwise its been a seamless ride.
I'm guessing she will either choose to keep the one she's got (not a thing wrong with it) or have me find her a newer one.
I'm waiting a few weeks to ask her what she wants to do.

ltc - Are you SERIOUSLY telling me that you or your wife laugh at the Cayenne and then CONSCIOUSLY choose that "thing" in the picture?

Surely this is another of your amusing jokes?

PS No offence intended if it IS true?!?!?!

YES, she did.
Technically she's not really my (legal) wife. It's Larry's widow, we're just sort of co-habitating.
(OK, fine...she's a rich widow cougar, I'm just her boy toy.....life is good)

Actually, she was told to buy whatever vehicle she desired. That is what she wanted and got. At one time she did drive Larry's Cayenne, but for some strange reason, she refused to drive it at night. Clearly, she was not a black belt in the German martial art of "Racer's Tape and Maglites", as Larry obviously was.
YES, she does laugh everytime she sees a woman go by in a Cayenne.

NO, really.

Offence? ME? That would imply emotions and feelings.....both of which I have not.
