On behalf of Larry's estate (and his widow...quite the cougar), please allow me a moment to once again state that the use of the word 'pig' and all it's Webster dictionary equivalents, i.e. 'piggy' will not be tolerated.

It should also be stated that the use of the term 'pig' in describing a Dr. W. era Porsche is the sole property of Larry....and of course is free to be used ONLY in the Cayenne forum, the true home of pigs (lipstick optional).

The Panamera is NOT authorized by the estate to use the term 'piggy' in describing the new disaster, the last piece of the 10yr plan from Dr. W.

Thank you for your attention. That is all.

Would you care to offer a new term to be used when discussing the Panamera?

I don't know why, but Placenta comes to mind.

HAAAAAAAAAAAhat a post.
Point noted ltc, will only use after proper accreditation.

placenta... brings up different things... is it a source of nutrition? a bag for blood? how many of us were actually IN the delivery room and were still standing to "see" that placenta come out? I was on a different floor fainting anyway.
Nah... I think placenta is too vague an image - and one I have no cares to make more clear in the shape of the Panamera...

I fail to come up with an alternative I am sorry... will revert later.

For your consideration:

1. RHINO (rye-no): Webster's: any of several large thick skinned odd-toed, hoofed mammals found in Africa and India having one or two upright horns on the snout. And may I add and a fairly large ***. Rhino might also be a good take off on "RINO" i.e. Panamera is a Porsche in name only or maybe just call it a "PINO"
2. COYPU (koi-poo) or NUTRIA (new-tree-ah): Webster's: a large South American rodent, as large as 3 and 1/2 feet long. And may I add many Porsche enthusiasts believe the Cayenne and Panamera to be a "ratting out" by Dr. W. to the core Porsche principles
3. HIPPO (hip-poe): Webster's: a large mammal having a thick hairless body, short legs, a large head and muzzle found in and near lakes in Africa. And may I add, a large *** as well.
4. GORILLA (go-rih-lah) or 'RILLA: Webster's: 1. the largest of the anthropoid apes, a mammal which is found in western equatorial Africa. 2. an ugly brutish fellow 3. a hoodlum or thug, one who threatens violence. And may I add that many Porsche enthusiasts see the Panamera as a rude or even thug-like attack on their 911 heritage.
5. LARRY's HEARSE: it would have been a great way for him to "exit the building" and the ultimate way to keep him "turning in his grave".

ok, I believe that the success of the word PIG (other than seeing Greenpeace's PINK PIG Cayenne with ears and a nose which was just hillarious) lies in the fact that its a one syllable 3 letter word. Rhino is just too long, so is Hyppo.

A silly animal that comes to mind and surely no one will remember EVER has to be the GNU!! HAHAHAHA..

But more appropriately I think we should call the new model a cow...
whadya think?
