Default Front Power Outlets

Having seen so many questions lately about this, this is a place marker for future searches

There are 2 power outlets in the passenger side footwell just underneath the glovebox

They cannot be seen easily when sitting in the drivers seat.

This is of course in the manual however, giving people the benefit, manuals are not always passed on when cars are resold.

.....you forgot to mention the results of marketing research that show that most Cayenne owners can't read

We should convert this forum to a 'spoken word' website.......just think of the possibilities.

I brought this up in the "Don't pay to have the cabin filter changed" thread Here. I even took a picture of them. I read the manual looking for info on changing the filter but missed the part about the power outlets until I actually went to change the filter. If I still have that photo I'll add it here.

IIRC, the power outlets were first photographed and displayed here in the forum YEARS ago....back in the alpha days or very early beta days IIRC.

True, I thought that had gone away for good but recent posts around the internet are digging it up again

I am fairly confident that our official forum bartender would invoke his trademarked/copyrighted/still waiting for an official emoticon....

Yo! Mo better?

Disclaimer: For newbies and those that haven't read or found it in the manual yet, do NOT look for the outlets to be in relation to the carpet and/or plastic pieces shown in the photo below, you'll drive yourself nuts......then the squirrels will have an easier time finding you.

Agreed, and since the forum babysitter started this thread, you would think he could influence the "powers that be" to copy the RTFM emoticon and make a STFF one. I think we all have agreed it is necessary particularily with all the newbies replacing the alpha/beta members.
