FWIW, I already own a hybrid (06 Ford Escape Hybrid) and a diesel (wife's 05 Excursion 6.0l Powerstroke), so that does tend to minimize the carbon footprint a bit

This is almost a heartwarming thread.

Got 45,000+ on my '06 CTT and the only thing thats been replaced (warranty work) was the low-end horn. Otherwise, the best vehicle I've owned to date.
