Our 2004 C-TT has 141,000+ miles on it - a water pump, a carden shaft, coil packs and coolant tubes on the intake, other than that it's been normal service. T2
the water pump i would consider normal service in 141k (although i would hope it went our recently). the others are all engineering errors, that on other cars (honda, for instance) would have been fixed for free. i find the intake coolant tubes an especially heinous blunder, plastics on a pressure vessel being thermally cycled should have had extra attention paid to them.
of course, all of my problems showed up in the first 40k.
Water pump went early warranty, carden shaft was out of warranty and the coolant tubes we got done at about 125,000 miles and the dealership and PCNA picked up a bunch of it so really not that bad in the long run. It continues to drive well so we decided to keep it and enjoy it. T2
