Wind Shield Wipers
The wipers on our S leaves a large unwiped stop in the drivers field of vision. I thought I had read about changing the "angle of attack" of the wipers to correct this but I couldn't find any info using the search tool. Does anyone have any info on this?

They're not links, just a screen capture.
I had assumed that you would simply bring this menu to your local Porsche dealer and have them pick.

I took it to the dealer while still under warranty and complained about the wiper quality so they where nice enough to replace the blades with new ones that suck and charged an outrageous price for them

Understood....I will recall the squirrels.
Without knowing the MY/history of the swine in question, I will assume that the dealer has in fact removed the temporary transportation windshield wipers at delivery and replaced them with permanent windshield wipers, that in fact they have changed the windshield washer reservoir fluid to the correct type/concentration, that they have verifed that the windshield is within spec for flatness/distortion, that they have in fact already replaced the windshield wiper blades once and that the windshield has been properly cleaned/prepared,.......so I guess that leaves the TSB relating to replacing the wiper arms to correct the angle of attack problem.

You actually want to replace the wiper arms with the new/updated parts.....the 'bend the wiper arms' was a temporary solution put in place until sufficient new arms were avaialable.
If you are attempting this on your own, then I am assuming you're naked.....my condolences.
Your best bet for purchasing new arms would be to contact Sunset Imports.

000.043.206.73, wiper arm, driver's side
000.043.206.72 wiper arm, passenger's side
Of course, you should first make sure you have tried the new/updated wiper blades first, before replacing the wiper arms:
955.628.939.00 wiper blades, 1 set
Then again, why would you take advice from a stranger, especially one that wears pajamas with the feet sewn in and the flap in the back?

OP, I think the angle of attack thing is more about wiper effectiveness at speed. Have you considered that maybe you just need new blades? It happens.
BTW - *WARNING*: I was replacing my blades this winter and got careless and let the arm slip and fall onto my windshied with no blade mounted to it. Suffice to say, a couple of days after, by windshield was as good as new. Everyone should do that maybe every 3 years.

Just replace my blades ordered from Sunset. Oddly last year's part number was 955.628.939.01 and this year was 955.628.939.02. I assume these are the 'new and improved' this year as the ones from last year just about made it for 11 months of not too stressful conditions.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the new model holds up. I did have the streak right at eye level as well and now it's gone. Fingers crossed....
