that new Nordic Gold is HOT!!!
Wonder how much $$ I'm guessing starting around $65k
edit:
says $69K to start, so with Tip you're talking $72.5k. $76K with a few options and PDCC. CTT starts at $95k.

Yawn......
Yet another "rebadging" conceived and executed by PAG Marketing.
(No, I'm not surprised, I was not enthuastic about a year ago when it was approved internally)
Before, the Cayenne Turbo got rebadged with excess inventory parts/options and sold as the Turbo S; now the exercise is repeated with the normally aspirated version Cayenne S.
Cayenne sales below expectation/initial inventory ramp up, so, start using up Turbo fascias, use the same paint as the Targa 4S, use the GT badge from the shut down Carrera GT (didn't sell as many as been projected either).
Did I mention....Yawn.

3 words: Reuse, Reuse, Reuse.
The interior/exterior styling elements (dash, lights) and under the skin bits (powertrain, suspension, infotainment, system electronics) are being commonized.
So, the Panamera will look remarkably similar to the next Cayenne. They are already tooling around the world in various levels of camo.
As for release, there is the small issue of how long to run the facelift for, as sales haven't been 'stellar' and there is no expectation that the 'new' Cayenne would be any better. However, the development costs for the aforementioned components (including the hybrid powertrain.....wait until you get a look at THIS disaster.....it will make you wish you owned an alpha/beta Cayenne) will be spread across multiple models.
The 9x7 platforms will get a facelift, followed by the 'new' Cayenne introduction (of course after the world is gifted with the arrival of the Panamera).
Of course, this is all subject to change at the discretion of Dr W.

All true, but I am thinking this might not be a bad option when they are selling new ones real cheap in 2009-2010 (when the "new" Cayenne comes out) because they will probably be discounting them heavily like the Tit.S.
More HP, bugs worked out, yada yada.
