That proto was leaning like a pig in the corner! I hope that the waffle maker wing is fully adjustable from inside the cabin for the occasional 190+ beer run.
Have no fear on PSE... I'm sure it will be a factory option for under 5K.

Did I notice some Panamera hesitation issues?!? Seemed like the gearbox, which I assume is a tip on this model, took a bit of time to search for the right gear upon acceleration.

Cayenne owners....always 'the glass is half empty' kind of owners.
Picking on the poor Panamera before it's even released to an adoring pulibc.
Actually, and don't tell anyone this.....the car in the video was a hybrid. There were speakers placed under the unibody to reproduce exhaust sounds. The delay you refer to is simply the 45rpm record of the exhaust sounds 'skipping'......but don't tell anyone......it's a secret.

The Panamera will be launched as a rear-drive model with two V8 engines; both direct-injection versions of Porsche's 4.8, they will come in naturally aspirated 400bhp and turbocharged 500bhp forms in 2009 and as 300bhp 3.6-litre V6 sourced from VW in 2010, while the range-topping hybrid version comes in 2011.
...At around 1800kg, this is no lightweight car but it's only 200kg heavier, than a 911 Turbo, equal BMW M5 and 400kg lighter than CayenneTT, and muscular engines will ensure electrifying performance. The PanameraTT is claimed to be capable of 190mph and 0-100km/h in 4.2sec. 400bhp Panamera V8 will blast to 175mph and be as quick as a 911 Carrera with the fuel economy of the cheapest Boxster.
Four-wheel drive version is coming in 2010, seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions supplied by ZF , composite brakes (PCCB) and active dampers (PASM)...
