Agree.. You've got to get TOTAL CARE or pay extra for electronics, accessories, etc. (which I did).. plus again, I recommend that you go through the dealer and be sure to discuss these things and get a clear idea what is covered for what price.. buying off the internet and/or non-CPO via 800 numbers is NOT the way to go. Going "nekkid" isn't necessarily a bad idea with the non Alpha-Beta "pigs" but only time will tell and based on my Beta experience, it was the only way that I would remain a Cayenne owner.

Thanks Brad, & MF. If I'm to go through with an extended warrant I will most definitely make sure everything's covered.

I'm right there with you at 44K on my 04TT. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I plan to keep it well beyond 50K.
I have the dealer change the oil every 3K instead of the intervals Porsche recommends. I don't know...maybe I'm wasting money at $200 each time,, but I get that warm fuzzy feeling and especially since I will be on my own soon.

Are the coils, coolant pipes, etc. covered with a CPO or is just the independent extended warranties that don't cover them?

Ok,

Dumb question.... Over here if you get a PCU (Porsche Certifed Used) OR if you buy a new car - you get the option of continuation for the factory warranty for up to 10years...

Yes you have to pay - but it is factory warranty - and when mine is done - I will be going with it for the pig... oops I mean Cayenne - having 3 NEKKID worries me...

Is this not an option from Stealers in the US?

Lewis has frightened me so much (even though my '06er has been great...) that I am afraid to look at myself NEKKID!

Simon.

truthfully if your cayenne has never had coils at 50k
your never gonna need them.
Im starting to think coolant pipes is a hot weather thing so if you live out of miami
may never be an issue.
ENgines and trannies have been bullet proof. I think we have replaced 2 v6 and 2 v8 in all these years
and we sell/sericve more cayennes then anywhere in the world.
Dont take my advice, but i really think that I would take the 3k for the warrenty and stick it in a account where if i never use it i can get it back

AHH, never nekkid in the CTT! Actually, thats not true, but I digress...

I am about to become scantily clad however, as I am at 46k and will soon roll into the CPO. That's 15,000 miles in one year! My goal is to hit the 100k market before I hit the year mark!

115,000+ miles on our 2004 C-TT, it's been very very good to us!!! Only unexpected items were a water pump, carden shaft and coil packs - other than that it's oil changes, normal maintenance, tires, and rotors/brakes......T2 knocks on wood!!
