I just noticed the key looks like a Cayenne! WTF? Maybe everyone knew this already and us new owners are just catching on, but I think it's kind of cool that good ole Porsche thought about this level of detail. I'm at my desk, toiling away, and I see the key and it hits me! Duh, I'm sure. Why I didn't see that sooner, well, it's probably because I'm slow.
I wish the key wasn't so thick tho... the designers could have put in more time slimming the key down... heck, cellphones are just slightly thicker than a piece of paper these days or so it seems.

The fob may look cool, but has p*ss poor ergonomics IMO. It all feels the same in the pocket. You should be able to 'work it' without seeing it.
But now I'm just getting picky... Larry would NEVER complain!!!!!!!!!!

Mercedes and BMW M keys are soooo much nicer than the porsche key. Hopefully they will do something more interesting than a switchblade key for the redesign.

Are we talking about the black brick that is apparently optional to start my car? The honeymoon is strong with this one. That said, I do like the panorama roof...

get thee new fobs before it is too late.. there is no issue at all with replacing if documented that it has no range and fails to work (at least at my dealer).

At least YOUR "pocket-brick" has separate "lock" and "unlock" buttons.
Alpha/beta owners, feel free to give me the same rebuff, as I've had no serious problems with range - though one fob did stop working and had to be replaced. That still puts me 3 replacements ahead of where I was at 2 years into my last MB ownership experience.

I do have an extended for those pesky multi-kilobuck bugs.

Range on my fob is great... my kid is locking and unlocking the car from inside the house all day long.
