I noticed that this comapny also has several iPod playback solutions for P-cars including those with MOST. Has anyone in this forum used any of products from this company?
I drive a 2005 Carrera. I do NOT need to have full integration (where songs would show on the factory radio display). All that I am looking for is the ability to play my iPod songs through factory speakers. I do NOT mind using my iPod interface to change songs, etc.
I would prefer a system that connects directly to the ipod NOT one with FM broadacast since I hear they are not very good. Right now I use my ipod through a cassette adaptor in my other car (SUV) and it sounds well with no interference.

Any suggestions/ideas are welcome.
+1 i want to hook up my i pod to the cayenne to, but dont want to use the FM tuner, i would rather have a AUX cable plug in, and use the ipod that way.
but have not been able to find one that can do that.
You have to place the mobridge unit in line with the current fibre installation, and power it. it lights up the ipod as soon as services in the car start up (when you open the door) When PCM comes up, you select CDC and you have control. I also feed my Sirius into its aux input and will be adding video and bluetooth to it in the next month or so.
Thanks mudman...is it one cable to connect to the MOST system? Man this looks like the ultimate alternative for our systems...
For me, a guy who really only uses the iPod on biz trips and in the car.. it is the ultimate!
p.s. note one cable to charge and get music into the mObridge and that's the orange MOST cable connecting where the CDC would have been. There is a power and MOST connector sitting in the compartment even if you do not have a CDC.
thanks Perfect explanation with the pics...and the modding begins again. The only thing I miss from S4 cabrio was the hours of mp3 music using the SD slots on the MMI.
I am still waiting on a reply from them on price and info...can you play mp3's right off the SD slot?
However you could buy a SD type MP3 Player and plug it into the AUX spot on the opposite side of the unit from the SD slot I have shown. Mudman2 is currently routing his Sirius satellite through Aux. I plan to use the Aux for Bluetooth when it becomes available if it can be routed that way - it may actually have a unit with aux and bluetooth.
Bottom Line: Great product to date.. Now exactly two months with ZERO error/faults on my prototype "beta" unit.
p.s. just be aware that mObridge is slowly ramping up production in the USA from Australia.. so be patient with when you can get one.
Just ordered my mObridge today. Should be shipped by this weekend and here by Monday or Tuesday. Second to the Cargraphic muffler, this may be the best mod to date. I can hardly wait.
