Besides the deal on the T-Reg would have only put me in a very lightly optioned V6 Cayenne, which although super cool, does not have the wow factor on the accelerator like 550 lb-ft of torque.
Congrats! The Treg TDI is a very stealthy hot rod.

Yes it is really an awesome car. I am pretty impressed so far and I just hope it is reliable. Thanks!

They say it is real wood in there. Looks like it, but it is a VW, so who knows...

7700lbs. Not too bad. Seems conservative given the amount of torque, though....

What mileage are you getting out of it?

I am averaging 17.5 mpg for the last several hundred miles with a mix of city and 10 minute freeway runs. Out on the freeway, I get up to 22 mpg for the daily average, but once again these are short runs. My car only has 750 miles on it so I expect these number to go up slightly as the engine breaks in. The real nice thing is that diesel is cheaper than 87 octane here in Omaha now.

Do you know the cetane rating of the diesel you are buying?

Check with your dealer regarding adding cetane boost when you fill up. Higher cetane is a good thing with EGR/emission equipped diesels.

No idea what the cetane rating is, just know that I filled up with ULSD. What is the benefit of a higher cetane rating? Incidently, I spoke with a VW rep who told me that while ULSD is recommended in the '07, the occasional fill up with LSD is acceptable but that I should expect some white smoke out of the exhaust.
