MUD FLAPS
I am looking into mud flaps(spoke with Eric @ Bumper Plugs). Was wondering if anyone has them installed with pix available?
Not sure how the flaps will alter the look of the truck. Almost all photos I've seen show without flaps. Any thoughts/pix?

I have them on mine. They are probably not the best looking things out there but they do the job. I had the dealer instal mine but anybody who is somewhat handy can put them on easily... check my previous posts for pics of my car with them installed on it

Larry had the OEM mudflaps installed on his Cayenne. As mentioned, they work well and don't look that bad at all.
Eric at bumperplugs is a great guy. He'll treat you well. He's done the rear bumperettes on my 996TT and 968 Cab; he's the DaVinci of Porsche paint.

You forgot to mention using cooking oil, mystery oil, 2 stroke kart engine oil....anything but Mobil 1 0W-40.
It was actually kind of liberating with Larry not having to wash "that" Porsche........shoot, I go for a 20 minute drive in the Queen and I spend 2 hours washing/drying/quick detailing and covering it. Santa Claus even brought me a CR Spotless water system

Can't wait for the snow to melt......
I should however take the opportunity to thank the folks at the Porsche dealer, who out of complete pity and sympathy for Larry's Cayenne, actually washed it when it was in for service (I know, when was it NOT in for service....but that's in the past). Yes, the wheels were a BIT of a challenge......and yes, they did have to hire a new person to wash customer cars, apparently after the Larry Cayenne experience, he had some "mental" issues......
