2008 CAYENNE OFFICIAL PIC

Huh, looks like the 08 Cayenne Turbo gets the little LED assemblies from the 997 Turbo.....
Who could have possibly seen that coming.
And I'm going to guess that the rear tail light assemblies are going to be from the.......

Whats the deal with the lights under the mirror on the Turbo???? Is Porche adding accent lighting??? That or the door is open... or there is a malfunction. No way its the latter, Porsche fixed all the issues on this version.

The Turbo's front end looks better than I imagined from the spy shots. Not too crazy about the horizontal slats on the CS and V6 though.. but maybe they'll look better in person.
That's the only pic that I found on Porsche's UK website. There are no other details about it, but I've heard power will be up slightly on all versions (maybe 20-50HP depending on model). I was quite happy with my CS interior, but does anyone know if the interior has been revised?
For one, I'd like to see BLUETOOTH connectivity standard or at least as an option (everyone else has this) and MP3 compatibility for the CD CHANGER, not just for the front loading CD slot (it can't be that hard to do!). Oh, and please someone tell me they sorted out the transmission response delay issue. That was one thing I couldn't stand on mine, press the throttle halfway to overtake a vehicle and it refuses to kickdown unless you floor it.

I'm 12 months out from my lease expiring on my 2004 Cayenne S. While I've experienced some of the problems reported here, my ownership experience has been more than satisfactory.
However, for me to consider another Cayenne, I must have the following features:
1. Bluetooth Phone connectivity
2. iPOD integration
3. More comfortable seats (the thigh bolsters have become thigh bruisers for me)
4. Quieter windshield wipers
That's about it. Not asking for too much. If Porsche doesn't come through, the new X5 looks awfully appealing, as do the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
I'd like to stick with the Cayenne but will no longer accept living without the convenience features I mentioned.

I may do the same with respect to a new car next year, especially regarding the iPod integration. There's no excuse.
Any suggested contacts at Porsche to express my opinion? I plan to e-mail some in the Exclusive Programme, as those were the only addresses that I could find on their website.

It's pretty much letters only when it comes to dealing with PCNA. Real dark ages way to stay in touch with your customer base in these day and age.

Remember, I don't write the news, I just report it.
