Default Cayenne MSRP discounts

Hi all.

Anybody know what discounts off MSRP dealers are currently offering on Base and S models?

Thanks, in advance.

Is anybody out there, or just nobody buying new Cayennes? Would appreciate your experience. Many thanks, and Happy New Year to all.

Bought a custom ordered '06 from Porsche of Nashua (NH)-- About 9.5% off sticker, which was just north of $70K. Great dealership. Pleasure to work with. PM me for point of contact there if you like and I can give you the name of the sales manager I worked with.

In an effort to defend my smaller discount, just let me say that, my claim of 5K off is actually true.

Hey Alex, I saw your post on the other board where you've stated Turbo's are getting $12K to $14K discounts these days. Does this apply to dealer stocks or also to customer spec order cars as well? Where did you hear about this? and how reliable is this info?
I'm very interested in this info...looking hopefully to get into one in 3-4 months.
TIA.

I dont know if that has changed but I know the GM from Michael Stead Porsche, and that's what he told me. 12 K for a base turbo and 14 for the fully loaded ones. You can call him if you want, but he's in Walnut Creek. I posted that before the end of the year, so I'm not sure if that's still the case.
If you login to www.stevenscreekporsche.com, the Cayenne v6 is 5K off, the S is 7K off, i saw the Turbo before there for 12K. I also got something from the Mail from Rector Motors that they are 12K off msrp but it says sale event expires 12/31/2005. But go ahead and call Mike Soria and see if it's still on sale... tell him i referred you 9252804900, but i'm pretty sure the on he was offering me was an '05..

Thank you, Alex. I'll follow up on that.
It'd be nice to get that 14K discount on a fully loaded '06 Turbo. It'd be nice....

You should check dealers who are snowed in and willing to deal. I recently purchased from an east coast dealer and got a very good discount on a 997S.

The local dealer where I've purchased several cars was offering a token discount of 1.5k. In addition, I've found working with dealers via phone, email, fax a much better use of time with less B.S.

Cheers and good luck!

To Rome/SnP/Alex/Zumaron/Itc --

Thanks for the feedback. Getting ready to do battle with my dealer, so I can get my wife out of her Lexus RX300 (God I hate that car) and into a vehicle that we can all enjoy on the weekends. Oh yeah, and so I can keep my 996 Targa and not get a grown up's car ;-)
