SWEET!! Lewis, I say you and I dump the Cayenne's ( we can both drive it into PCNA headquarters) and each get a C4S or 997s...what do you say buddy!!!?

If you are not up for it than I guess I'll shell out the 3k for extended warranty as I don't have the guts to go naked on mine....

If it wasn't for my fear of Rear Main Seals, the 996 C4S with a 6/100 CPO sounds VERY tempting for a daily driver. A friend about an hour away just purchased a 964 C4 as a daily/winter driver....he loves it.

Go naked. What's the worse that can happen
The idea of shelling out $3K for a warranty on my Cayenne just rubs me the wrong way...just can't get myself to do it.
I'd rather take the $3K and put it towards a new car (no, NOT a new Cayenne), depreciation be damned.

You just haven't figured out what comes after "Living with a Cayenne".

Getting a deal doesn't come easy though. I did alot of research/homework and knew exactly what I wanted. When I was ready to commit, negotiating was smooth.

Itc --

Call me insightful, but do I detect a trace of dissatisfaction with your CS? Your TT and your CS are both the second model year of production, so I am wondering how your experiences compare between the two vehicles (other than the obvious nod to the TT).

To others with 2005+ models --

Is it wishful thinking to imagine that problems with 03-04 models are reduced with 05+ models?

no major issues with my 03.....besides the recalls...after all updates and recalls were done the thing is awesome...what pisses me off abou tthe car is inability to have Sirius and play my iPod without some wacky FM wiring and silly stick on crap...well, and the navi blows....other then that the SUV drives like no other SUV and better that quite a few sedans out there..PCNA has been good to me and so is the dealer...I'm just a born complainer and I also get this itch to get into something new after a year or so...but over the holidays and after ltc's note above I decided to keep the biatch and drive it till it warranty expires....heck...might even drive it longer than that....

Sir, you are obviously unaware that my avatar/initials stand for :
LoveTheCayenne.

IIRC, the 996TT was introduced to the US market in 2001.
The car has been a joy; if Sophia Loren were a car, she'd be a 996TT.
My wife will sometimes find me sitting in it or just staring at it smiling (it is my first Pcar, so there is a sentimental attachment)........for the record, she takes my belt and shoelaces everytime I'm alone with the Cayenne.

It is not wishful thinking. 05+ models have fewer problems, mainly due to a long list of worklist items completed at port or dealer PDI.

#1. No one listens to me.
#2. I assume no responsiblity for your future mental health, you being checked into a 'vacation villa', being fitted for 'tight fitting pajamas', sitting in bed, typing on a laptop with a pencil between your teeth.........has my Cayenne ownership/towing experiences taught you nothing?
Keep the biatch? Repeat after me

Speaking of my situation in the 'vacation villa', where's MadFox been lately? It's time for my meds again.

I've noticed you've been using the "!" quite a bit lately.
Been towing?
