I have recently ordered a Cayenne V6 and i was told i would be receiveing it in Aug/Sept. However, i could have received it sooner but my local dealer told me that the factory in Germany closes down for the entire month of July!! Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? If so, i guess i'll just have to wait a little long for my baby.

same thing when you order furniture from italy.... they take breaks, which i do envy/respect.

except if you get it in September, you'll get one built *before* vacation, when they're all thinking of other things...

The Cayenne assembly in Leipzig is so highly automated that I don't think vacation daydreaming will have much affect on the robots!

As for the humanoids, at least they don't serve them beer in the factory like they do at the BMW plant in Munich!
