Default ALARM SOUND

just notice that the factory alarm doesn't not even make sound when press "chirp" beep nothing is this normal and is there a way to program alarm just have sound much easier to know when the car is arm/disarm rather that just flasing lights.

You can adjust whether it's a horn blast or just the lights using the on board computer...Please take no offense...I have not had a chance to use this emoticon before...

Now, remember that you will have to program each key...

I did not find the option to sound horn in the menu for the alarm???

it is under ALARM which is under Comfort Settings menu

Sorry guys what i meant is why isn't there a "chirp" sound when the alram is press only lights flash but again works great at night how about day time, again sorry guys just new to all this silence that why i ask if there is a why to there on a beep or chirp to the alram for those of us that wants a sound. thanks in advance.

Rockitman and Jaro are both correct. The setting is under your comfort menu and you have to program both of your keys.

That option is under 'doors' setting..not alarm. BTW when I tried to check the "horn" option...no sound came..so took it to the dealer and he says after 1 day in the shop that the alarm horn ( different from the regular horn) is not working..and need to get it ( from Germany as usual).. will call when available!!!!!!!

After they did the updates on my '04 and replaced both my keyfob the settings on the horn/silence etc works instantly, bring it to the dealer

How do u program both keys now both of my keys won't work how to rest set ?
