Default Put the Cayenne in Neutral.....

Step on the gas and put it too the floor let me know what happens...

I was very surprised by the result any ideas on why this happens?

Sounds like it could be expensive and dramatic. Please show pics of the TT in a million parts after a helllish self destruction with pools of oil and scattered parts made from unobtainium all over your drive......

it stops at about 4000 revs (limiters kick in) will not go over unless moving

That's good, but I see no need to rev a Cayenne in neutral in the first place...

the software prevents revving with no load, this is common in many newer automatics.

I was some what surprised, when this happened. With my Cayenne I never know if things are "designed" that way or if it is possibly another thing that makes my Cayenne not just right.

It does the same thing in a 15 mph turn....actually it sorta stops there for a bit to make sure it is ok...haha...

I think it does this because it is connecting to the Internet to get approval from Porsche...sometimes the connection is slow and you have to wait a bit..but you'll get used to it.
