So the Cayenne S was intoday for the Final Lemon Law evaluation. Of course the final repair attempt was useless in terms of fixing the vibration defect.
But when the Cayenne was returend to me the following items did not work:
1. Crusie control (green light on the dash turns on) does not operate.
2. Horn makes a high pitch sound.
3. No need to depress brake to start Cayenne
4. When Vehicle is off you put the Cayenne into any gear that you like without using the brake.
5. In tip mode with ESP off, the Cayenne does not shift on its own at redline (never noticed this before so it might be normal, but it seems weird that the Cayenne will let to continously hit the rev limiter).
Any ideas on what could have been done at the dealer today to casue this group of issues. The transmission issues seems to be really unsafe, as well I am very scared as to what else could be on the verge of going wrong.

A safe first step would be to disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes, to help the vehicle recover from the dealership service.
Then retest the identified problems.

To make matters even worse:
We are leaving Friday AM for 10 days on the outer banks of NC. I think that we are going to have a hard time fitting beach house supplies, stuff for two people and two Bulldogs into a Boxster S. Now don't get me wrong we have loaded a ton of stuff in the Boxster S but this is not going to work. Let alone the lack of 4x4 that will be needed for beach travel during our stay.
Arghh....I am really frustrated! So frustrated that I almost took the darn thing to the Rover dealer and took the hit and would have been done with it. But then PCNA would have won, my lemon law claim would go away, and they could continue to bury their heads! Vent over sorry, but thanks for listening!

Can't your dealer get you a Cayenne loaner by Friday?

Isn't Thursday between today and Friday? Can't they squeeze your vehicle in to correct new problems that they've created?
If so, it may even be possible to take a "shake down" ride, after the repair, with the Service Manager, to ensure that the vehicle is acceptable for the planned trip.

You are correct, my Cayenne was left at the dealer yesterday. They are aware of the situation and are going to look at it this AM. My concern is that if parts are needed I am done, no chance of getting what is needed in time. trust me my fingers are crossed, my dealer give enterprise rentals as loaners, which usually means some american sedan!
