Hello one and all, I've just purchased my first 955 base VR6 Cayenne. My mech has just found out that the tail lights look different from outside - one showing brighter lights than the other.
Upon deeper inspection it turned out the two items are original but one is some sort of chrome inside while the other is "smoky".
I attach a few pictures.
Any sound explanations?
Looking forward to your reply, kind regards!
Hard to tell from the pictures provided, as they're at different angles.
Does the darker one have tint applied on the outside?
Otherwise, the "chrome" inside can deteriorate over time. One tail light could be are placement that has aged differently.
