Default Engine specs

Hi guys do any of you have details on things like engine weight, valve timing and valve sizes? Also engine dimensions, that is size not bore *stroke.

You're good Jessa, what are you doing surfing over here anyway? Did you get lost? Go on back to the 928 Fourum and don't tell anyone about this!

After this many years any info on what valve sizes are in different Cayenne engines? Intake and exhaust valve diameter, lenght and stem diameter? Only managed to find V6 intake and exhaust valve diameters plus valve shaft diameter, 39.0mm, 34.3mm and 7.0mm.

Thanks. So it seems six cylinder valves are much closer to what I'm looking for.

While visiting at Porsche factory few years ago they had Cayenne V8 engine pieces on display. Block itself looked much smaller than 928 block. It all extra stull like oilpan and intake that make it too large to fit into 928 engine bay. Strip all this excess away and I think it would fit with room to spare.

Small block conversions are too common. Why not use big block with 928 32V heads.

i think if you really tried you could make it work.
you would need to either rework the oil pan or the k member.
i think with some very short custom motor mounts you could stuff it in there.
we have one out at work ill measure it for ya tomorrow
