BAT's quality of listings has fallen off, setting current auction listing records all the time, with some pretty stupid cars in the mix these days.

Damn, that sounds bad. Bore scoring or maybe a top end issue?

Rusty underneath, didn't seem like a good candidate to put a suspension upgrade in.

I've also noticed that BAT seems to be going for volume now and not quality.

super rusty! Also why would you convert an S that has air suspension to coilovers with a lift kit?!

Other than the very minor surface rust on heavy gauge steel, that underbody is probably the best thing about that soon to be brick. A 1 year old car in a rust belt area will look like that.

So who here placed the $1 bid? lol!

haha, me! I put my money where my mouth is. I predict this auction is going to end very badly if the seller doesn’t at least try to get the knocking sound inspected.

Wow, that sounds bad. The seller's immediate defensiveness is a bad sign too. I'm contemplating a bid of tree-fiddy so Brian and I can have a bidding war.

Go for it, I’m at my max bid for that knocking piggie.

Just wow, 65k miles... from the sound I would be very concerned, but with the mileage makes me think it would be a fairly easy fix.

Mileage doesn’t matter if it’s bore scoring. Repair is an engine rebuild or a used engine. Either way, who would invest that in a 2004 S cayenne?
