Default Any pictures for Cayenne in accidents?

Hello all,

I have a weird request; I'd love to see some pictures for wrecked Cayennes. I just never saw how the car would hold in a crash.

If you have some a picture, please post it and thanks a million for sharing!

Here's an old one. Unfortunately I don't remember the source of it.

mu92688: Thanks for the site, I actually saw it long time ago and to tell you the truth, it's the reason that made me wonder how would the cayenne look in a crash. They have pics for every car EXCEPT the cayenne

Guys, please some more pictures/links would be great, thanks

Last view below. This car (Cayenne S) is being sold by a dealer for $39k as is. Is this a good deal - does anyone know about how much it would cost to repair?

Man, this car looks like it fell from a mounting on its front. Surprisingly, the rest of the car looks AMAZING.
I mean look to the 2nd picture, the car looks like it was detailed few hours ago, not been an accident !! I'm sorry for the poor owner who saw his car like a faceless bride

umfan thanks for sharing

This is a great picture. It would be nice to know data on the accident itself, such as mph at time of impact, what the other vehicles looked like, etc. My initial impression is that the Cayenne is a very safe vehicle if you are involved in a high speed front end collision based upon the occupant compartment being intact. Side impact would probably be the most dangerous.
Anybody know official data on crash tests for the Cayenne?

Blade you are very right. I always noticed that the front bumper is WEAK plastic. Try to press on the crest of the hood and you can see that it goes down with you. And I always wondered how Porsche make plastic cars yet they are very safe. I guess the plastic is only on the exterior, and what’s beneath that is rock solid.

Anybody knows what's the big board that you see in the picture (the one that hides the engine)?

front bumper means nothing during the crash. actually WEAK plastic might be able to protect what u HIT. what's important is the structure design.

There are some pretty major parts required, so I think you talking in the $10k-$20k range to fix. The parts alone would be a big chunk of change (hood, 2 front fenders, bumper, 2 headlights, 2 fog lights...plus all the little stuff...turnsignals, horns, etc etc etc). I would want a net cost of sub $45k for a car that had been in an accident.
