If you look under the front where the fog light is, you'll see the thick torson bar that goes across from one side of the wheels to the other. Right in front of the torson bar is a squarish plastic molding. It is held on by philips head screws. Its the only piece under the car in this area that has phillips head screws. There's five screws total...three underneath and two more in the fender well. Remove these five screws and then the molding. This will give you full access to change your fogs as well as side markers. Turn the fog light counter clock wise (looking from the back of the lights) to loosen.
Makes sense they designed it like this to make quick change of bulbs easily accessible. It takes only minutes to remove these screws. I did it with my steering wheel straight. There's room in the fender well for a short phillip. You can always turn the wheels for better access.
Since I have the Xenon, my fog lights looked 'yellow'. I replaced it with those hi-quality white tints using AdvancedOptik HID Match Fog Light Bulbs. http://www.europeanautosport.com/optik.htm. A lot of Audi guys are using these bulbs. It's been almost a year and I always drive with these lights on. No burn outs yet.

Does somebody have experienced what I'm going thru right now?
I have replaced my stock fog lights bulbs with:
- sylvania silverstar ultra (still look yellow) then tried with:
-PIAA extreme white 4105K (still look yellow)
it is my understanding my MY06 Cayenne S Titanium Ed xenon is 4,100K , therefore I should try to match such light intensity and not going over this rating if I would like to get the closest "xenonmatcn". Am I right?
How can it be everybody are just replacing bulbs getting the xenon match they want and I've been going thru different brands without getting closer to match my xenon headlights ?
Am I supposed to tint the transparent fog light glass to bluish color to make that yellow color disappear?
Thanks

I dont drive with the fogs on all the time. I replaced mine with amber/yellow bulbs. Since I use them in rain and snow I wanted them to be functional. They do a great job in the snow.

Exactly what i do, i put in the 2500K Nokya yellow bulbs. I never not have my fogs on at night with my headlights, gives a pretty mean look and great for the light output

You will have a hard time trying to match HID (head lights) with halogens (fogs).

One just has to find out what color temp the xenons are... I would guess 5k since they are pretty much white. Anything under 4500k will go warmer and warmer. Above 5500k starts to get bluer and bluer.

Now, if I try to change my stock halogen fog lights with HID lights, risking a little bit of lighting performance due to the fact halogen provides better light penetration on its real purpose....
....And I'm pretty sure the fog light housing will be something to replace with the new Type of bulb...What would be the answer to this modification/upgrade?
I have read lots of opinions and comments about this topic, pros and cons...and then there's a point confusion and uncertainty invade the thread
