Thumbs up PIC's of my new Cayenne S

Hello all,

I've been around in the forum for a while, but never got to introduce my new babe CS. I took delivery this past Feb, with only 1k so far.

It's basalt black on black w/ dark wood and Porsche 20" rims.
I have almost every option except the sunroof (I hate sunroofs)

I hope you enjoy my photos that I took on a nice sunny day in beautiful Mass

Nice choice. Sunroof delete makes sense to me. I have three sunroofs in the garage and never open a one of 'em. The Cayenne "Targa" will be interesting though.

As for "almost every option" ... I wonder if anyone has paid more for a Cayenne S than a Cayenne Turbo yet ...

leather, carbon & sports seats
nav & CD changer
air suspension
off-road equipment & cosmetics
sport techno 20" wheels & swing-arm spare
rear air etc.

Without getting too wildy profligate or frivolous* it's "easy" to approach $100K and certainly well over that number when it comes to taxes.

* Of course, any $100K SUV is a wild indulgence, but note: no leather on the air vents...

I too hate moon/sunroofs; my C-T was the 1st order my dealer was able to get accepted w/o the MR.

Twenty-FOOT wheels...WOW!!!!!!!

It seems to me the planetary ("crown wheel") gear for twenty foot wheels would be around about 600lbs with approximately the stored energy of a quarter mile drag acceleration for a 6000lb car, so I'm assuming such a Cayenne would have a twenty to thirty second lag on throttle (and brake) response ... that must be a tough car to autocross.
