So I have a bad left front ballast. I bought a used one and it flickered for a moment but did not light up. Scanner says wrong vin in module. I assume that it needs to be programmed at Porsche dealer… but is it suppose to light up even if it isn’t programmed properly? I’m worried the used ballast I bought is not good…. Thanks

 

I believe it has to be coded to the car before it will work.
