No problem at all. Any other questions just reply here.
These forums have been essential to my Porsche ownership, since I like to do all the work myself, and save money in the process.
just giving back!
plus I had not seen anything specifically about our connectors and how you can replace them, only some info on vw forums.

MOOG is well regarded for precise quality, I will report back when I get them in.
All right, I swapped the lower control arms today.

MOOG units are really great, they went in without any fight, truly smooth fit. (they also came in the package with all new replacement hex nuts).
Besides little struggle for me to separate the outer joint on the passenger side, it’s truly just four bolts. Pretty simple swap.
Side note: It's definitely good to have some penetrating oil available when trying to hammer them out to separate.
I am dumbfounded how heavy the stock steel units are in comparison, I discovered the old units had some cracks in the bushings so I had to replace them anyway, aluminum units are definitely the way to go.

So the conclusion is as long as you stay away from Mevotechs Supreme units as stated before, it’s a fairly simple upgrade from heavy steel to aluminium.
Based on what I read thus far on this forum: Lemforders, Centrics and now I can confirm Moog units are direct fit for 955/957 Cayennes.

I just placed order on RockAuto. Great deal I just found.
MOOG RK620622's are on up for closeout sale for $75 (each) plus tax and shipping. There is an extra 5% off coupon code (searchable online).

Thanks for the tip. I ordered a pair just now. I couldn't find where to input the discount code, but I went ahead and ordered them anyway since it's a great deal.

Not a big deal Tom, 5% discount is $7.58.

You enter the code in the box “How Did You Hear About Us” next time, works every time you order as the coupon is always easily searchable.

I got a pair just to add to my parts bin.

Does anyone know the part number for the aluminum LCA for a 2005? Are they the same as your 957?

Thanks Rossi, that's very helpful. 5% in this case wasn't much, but it sure has been and will be on other orders... and it's time to order new 380mm rotors at about $1200!

Gotta go FCP for expensive consumables like that! I think they were pretty competitive for CTTS rotors last time I checked.
