Default Porsche Cayenne 957 Cold air Intake

Hi, I have a Porsche Cayenne 957 base model. I was looking at cold air intakes for a while and never found any really, I saw EVOMS sold one for S model and I called to see if just the one would fit and they said it would not. My questions are Would it be possible for me to create a custom cold air intake for the cayenne 957 v6? How efficient would it be compared to a High Flow drop in filter?

OEM system is already a cold air intake that uses filter with a high surface area, so I highly doubt 3.6 VR6 has trouble in the breathing department. I am pretty certain Porsche engineers knew what they were doing and there will be minimal power gains if you were to create a custom one. Don't bother with High flow drop in filters- won't make a difference either.

If you want to hear the intake noise during WOT then yeah cone air intake might sound cool but otherwise don't bother. However if you want a sportier sounding exhaust then there is a cheap Gundo hack that is worth a try:

If you're after increasing HP then only cost effective and realistic way would be trading up to a more powerful Cayenne. There is zero aftermarket support for increasing power in your current car.
