Default Wet sanded my headlights! Like new now!

I had yellowed headlights with a peeling clear coat. I wet sanded with 400, 800, 1500, and 2000 grit. Amazing results!

They look great. I've been putting it off. Did you hand-sand them?

Did you clear them afterwards?

I always had good luck with Rustolem "Clear Coat for Plastic" on Headlights but it is now discontinued. I tried the "2K Clear" on Amazon but it went on really thick.

Install a piece of PPF over them and you are good to go.

You might try hand sanding the clear you already laid down. 1k, 2k, 3k, 5k grit. Then DA polish it and put a hydrophobic UV protectant on top. Takes about 30 minutes per light and might turn out real well.

Yes, I spent about 2 minutes with each grid per light. But when I polished them I used a hand power drill with Mother’s Mag and Aluminum polish on a buffing pad. Finally, I sprayed with a clear coat.
