I was just detailing a bit on my engine the last couple of nights, and amazed at how much they managed to pack into the front of our vehicles. I thought the GTS was tight..

Yup, look at all that's above and around that fan. Then look at the fan electrical, and the bolts behind it..lol..and hope you never have to remove either of them,

I have 72k on my 2009, same deal seems to be in stop and go traffic this bugger starts triggering like crazy.

Any other advice on replacing the pressure sensor from those that have done it?

Thermostat probably has to be done too...

The way I changed it is how a friend of mine does it who works at the Pcar dealership. There are other simpler ways like loosing the pulley, someone on Renntech had tackled it that way. This way you won't have to remove the radiator fan and everything else that's in the way.

BTW, this is a two person job if you go the route of removing the fan. What were the engineers thinking, smdh..lol
Did you remove have to remove the radiator hose in order to remove the fan assembly?

Thanks

No I didn't, and it helps to have a second pair of hands.

Does anyone know the torque specs? Whats the correct current part number as I see it has changed quite a bit.

Also this work for length:
https://www.amazon.com/screwdrivers-extra-total-length-250mm/dp/B01M2AFPZM/ref=asc_df_B01M2AFPZM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309832851244&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16052141828674832140&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001930&hvtargid=aud-801381245258:pla-493393426521&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=64417494871&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=309832851244&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16052141828674832140&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001930&hvtargid=aud-801381245258:pla-493393426521 https://www.amazon.com/screwdrivers-extra-total-length-250mm/dp/B01M2AFPZM/ref=asc_df_B01M2AFPZM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309832851244&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16052141828674832140&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001930&hvtargid=aud-801381245258:pla-493393426521&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=64417494871&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=309832851244&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16052141828674832140&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001930&hvtargid=aud-801381245258:pla-493393426521

This is the set I bought
Amazon Amazon
looks the same though.

BTW, if I had to do it over again, I'd probably remove the radiator hose to give easier access to the charge pipe bolts if removing the fan, or may even go the route of maybe removing the serpentine belt and a pulley while leaving the fan alone. Hope I never have to do it again..lol

Thanks! I hear you, just the thought of paying a shop $150 per hour for this simple part swap...Looks like the part is Porsche Oil Pressure Sender - 99760620302 - Bosch 0-261-230-147https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...606-203-02-M14

^ not really it seems. This way you don't have to remove the radiator fan which could be a PIA to RR if you don't remove the coolant hose. Also doing it that way you don't have to remove the charge pipes Actually I'd go that route if I have to do it again. I believe someone on Renntech used this approach. Also you get to check the condition of your belt and pulleys.

Ok, I got the plenum out and the two accordion connector rubber pipes. Now onto the charge pipes like in your first picture. Passenger side, looks like I can do except I have a seized bolt that the single screw T-30 head for that arm that, holds the pipe is so rusty, it is just starting to strip inside. Looks like some snap rings can maybe be removed to slide it off instead.

How the f*$k do you even see the bolt on the drivers side You are right, the upper radiator hose is so in the way.

Glad I don't need the car right away, I have a headache already....

Once those charge pipes are out, I assume its just doing this:
