I don't have any data between the two sorry.
I also run Ceratec in the oil as well.

I also was contacted by a member regarding having my information on the address line. As I relayed to the member I truly appreciate the RL community watching out for that stuff. I don't worry about the information going out there. It's a business address that I only use for deliveries and no ties to credit or anything else.
How does the Ceratec show up on your oil analysis?

I am curious about that too. I am running the Pennzoil Ultra Plat. Euro 5w40 GTL and Ceratec. I have my first non-break oil change sample to send off and about to pull another.

Interestingly enough, they said nothing about it I can find. I'm not a chemical engineer so I can't point out "here it is" on the analysis.

That being the case, for anyone shopping oils, the Driven DT40 (5W/40) I use has high ppm content of Molybdenum, vs the Motul xcess I was using prior that has none. Might be like getting the advantages of Ceratec without the risk of introducing a foreign component into the homogeneous oil and running the risk of it negatively impacting the additive package in the oil.

See the 997 UOA I added in Post #5 for the moly content. I'm not sure why none shows up in the 1st DT40 oil change that prior December but it has shown up in all the other DT40 UOA reports I've done on other vehicles where I also use the DT40 (other 997, GMC pickup, and it's in my Cayenne TTS too but is the first fill under my ownership.

Very consistent results and low consumption (GTS is non-turbo, so that helps). Great results.

I've been hearing a lot of great things about the DT40 and have been thinking of changing to it for my 2009 CTTS. Anyone else running DT 40?

Cheers,
Tom
