Where is that? Mine says HAA but it's not micro lettering. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

BTW, the remote FOB at the site I listed above is genuine Porsche

On mine it is in the slot that the key sits in when closed. The lettering is really small! The white may be worn off so you will have to clean it and get a magnifying glass probably.

Oh yeah, I see something in there. I'll make sure it matches. Thanks!

Key in the ignition and the chip detection reassigned things (as best I can tell)

MK > my key FOB is working great however, i noticed 1 thing...when pressing the lock button twice the car does not chirp to signal the doors are locked?

I tried my original FOB and its the same thing > no chirp.

There are comfort settings on the OBC under "locking." Look through the menus and you will find it. Search is your friend.

I have watched a few of the youtube videos that suggest it is possible.. and have been meaning to try to clone my one good key onto a brand new NXP RFID chip. if this works it allows you to key key cut and then skip the whole ordeal of pairing a new key to the car.

IF it works then same can be done to any of the aftermarket keys.. I assume that this is how the locksmiths who advertise ability to add a key do it. They clone your existing key to a blank one.

Yikes....what a mess. Still hoping the previous owner replies that he does indeed have that second key., service paperwork shows he bought an additional one in June 2017. Only one key here also.

The dealer went through three keys to get one which took the programming. Evidently the Porsche supplier has some quality issues. Anyway, because of the wait and inconvenience, they full boat comped me and fixed a marker light at NC. A loaner for a week worked too. Very pleased.

It appears there is a place in Staten Island (NYC, NY) that does 955/957 Kessy programming. I stumbled across an interesting video on YouTube showing them doing something with a Kessy.. involving soldering wiring to the circuit board.

The Kessy surgery:

Here is their general ad:

Maybe someone wants to check them out? If I had to guess - they might be from Eastern Europe.. (Russia perhaps?)
