957 GTS to Turbo Cluster Install
Installed two things today on my 2008 CGTS- an auto lamp headlight switch (which I will have to get programmed eventually) and a Turbo cluster! Everything seems to be working except I get a TPMS fault and headlamp fault, and the "comfort" menu is set to POTATO. I know that the car will need some computer time to possibly clear these errors and either program or otherwise adapt to work. If anyone has ideas on either of those I'd appreciate your input before I plead my case to the dealer/shop/friendly person with the knowledge to program
It looks so much better, even with the growing pains.

You should be able to turn the tpms off in the menu with the buttons on the wiper stalk, unless gts does not have that type of stalk. Headlight switch can be adapted and coded, comfort menu may be able to be coded however then you are left with a boost gauge with no input and the error that may create. You will need to find a PIWIS.

Turbo Cluster Swap
Hey I just finished the swap myself and corrected the mileage myself (simple circuit and a raspberry pi). You'll need a PIWIS to remove the remaining codes. I have access to one and live in Dallas, PM me.

Nice! I think I will just have my mileage advanced by the dealer (if they will) as I don't really want to get that involved with soldering. I am in OKC, so if I can't find anyone around here, certainly keep ya in mind!

It worked with the old switch too, I just really wanted auto headlights having had them on vehicles for ~20 years prior. And the switch was cheap enough to pick up.

Since the boost gauge is only a boost gauge and not also a vacuum gauge, it won't ever move off 0 as a NA motor won't ever get pressure beyond atmospheric. If the gauge was a combo boost/vac, you'd see different vacuum conditions from time to time, like when going down a hill and using manual mode to on the trans to hold a gear.

Just came across this..... (no affiliation)
Seems the ultimate option, there seem to be a company offering just the install of the wide turbo center display into your existing GTS cluster getting rid of the amber. No need to deal with the mileage and potentially all the other features. I might definitely look into this, but for me one more potential issues, I have 6 speed manual, wondering what to expect with all turbo model have automatic. I contacted the seller, I will report back.
