Got my Blackstone for my 2009 GTS
I bought my 2009 GTS back in January from a Rennlist member sight unseen. It had ~105,000 miles and came with a five inch book of records. It is my daily driver and was immaculate when I bought it. I now have 110,000 miles and did my first oil change and sent it off to Blackstone. The original owner did oil changes at ~10k intervals. I figured lets see how things are going maintaining a Cayenne by the book. It is also good to know for two reasons, it tells me if I might have issues and also is nice to have for resale if I ever decide to sell it. Here is the report and a picture of my baby, I finally washed it after 4 weeks to make it happy.

Not bad at all. Iron is a little higher than I like to see (prefer single digits) and you could use a little more Phosporous (1,000-1,200 ppm) in the oil to help protect the valvetrain, but I understand you didn't put this oil in the car and it came with it.
I'd recommend using a 5,000 mile change interval and an oil a bit higher in Phosphorous like DT40 or Motul xcess 8100 in the 5W/40 weight. What did you refill with?

That's a very good report. Especially for a 10,000 mile interval. A new routine of 5,000 mile changes will serve you well. Just remember, it's ONLY ONE TEST. So, you don't know if your metals are going up, or down. I suspect they have "frozen" which is what you want to see with a well-established healthy motor.
Don’t fret about your Zinc of Phosphate levels. Those are just fine for 10,000 miles. You’ll never see +1,100-1,200 PPM on an A40 approved Porsche oil, unlessd you are viewing a Virgin Oil Analysis (VOA).
Maybe try a billet magnetic drain plug from L&N Engineering, and see if you can pull down those iron level a few PPM.

Thank you guys! Always helpful. He ran mobil1 0w40 and I put the same back in. I planned on moving to a 5k interval, on my Diesel I was ever 3k. Since I'll likely have this for a while and I daily drive it I'm thinking it might be kewl to try different oils and maybe that plug. I'm starting to enjoy getting these reports and learning from them. Will be interesting to fiddle a little and see what happens. Will keep you all posted.
Thanks again, Hal.
