What Did You Do To (or With) Your Cayenne Today ?

About one year ago I installed the ISFM2351 Bluetooth module to give me a direct connection to my phone via PCM 2.1. Lately I had an itch to try out CarPlay so I decided to purchase and install a Alpine Halo9. Installation was a breeze until I ran into a hiccup with the fiber optic MOST box. Steering wheel controls are maintained, and the sound with the Bose system is vastly improved over the stock head unit.

Had that same washer fluid leak. Tried a number of normal band-aid fixes (generic rubber grommet, silicone, etc). What finally worked was a new pump and new pump sealing grommet. The pump was fine and not cracked, but once you get it apart, you'll understand how a worn pump sleeve that goes inside the rubber seal is what makes the seal actually seal and for some reason, my combo wouldn't hold fluid. Neither is very expensive and once you find the part number for the pump, there's a VW or generic pump that works just fine in place of the Porsche one.

Had to dig a hole in the snow to grille our New Year's eve steaks at the cabin in Mazama the other night. My four year old loved it! I had to keep the little one close as there was a Cougar lurking around nearby...maybe wanted my New Yorks?
