Default looking for info on my wheels

HI my name is Phil I am new here and have my first Porsche.

I just bought a 2001 Boxster base with some wheels I've never seen before. I love them and just found what they are. my apologies for asking a question that has been answered before.

Those are 17" sport classics, my favorite 986 wheel, enjoy your Porsche car! Everyone's bucket list should include at least one!

These were originally intended for the 993 but offered as an option for the 986 as well. Thus, they have a pretty stout stagger- 17x7 up front and 17x8.5 in the back. Assuming you have proper tire sizes installed, this will cause the car to understeer more than it typically does at the limit. Still, I'm with terbiumactivated, they're the best looking factory 986 wheel.

You appear to favor mid-engine Porsches! Beautiful cars. Here's my winter set up on my '03 S- albeit with lots 'o spacer usage... (23mm front, 14 mm rear)

i'd love to say they're all mine. I only have the 986. the 914 is my Dad's, and the 981 was on an extended test drive
