I have one similar to this. Bough from a local reseller for $35. Works great but does not charge the iPod. Not sure if this one does.
Pretty happy with it. It does the job. This is on my 2002 s.
For my 2008 I used one that is more costly. $600 but to me was well worth it. USB capable, RCA connector mounted in glovebox and typical iPod connection routed to center console.

Interesting. I agree it's worth it. I'm the type that enjoys the look of an OEM radio with iPod connections, hidden of course. My 540 has a dice system that does the job.

Btw: do you still have your 951s? How did you like the M-tune setup? I've been on the fence with it. Great reviews and feedback from what I read. I also live in Ca and pass smog. Haven't heard of anyone yet with this setup here.

Naw. I sold it last week. I absolutely LOVED the M tune. It was incredible the difference it made. Night and day. My car was one of the test mules so I got to watch the M tune grow from a concept to fruition. I started with vitesse chips, went to the a tune, then got the M tune, and it was awesome. Josh often would ride with me and tune the car on the fly so we could know what's good and what isn't before we burned a chip to throw in. I did the E85 conversion too, which meant I was pushing 20 PSI. Don't know the power I was laying down at that, but you can tell from my sig that I was doing 310 RWHP @ 18 PSI on 91 octane. I promise you, between the product, the price, the ease of install, and Josh's service, you'll think the M-tune is the deal of the century. You won't regret it. I promise you that.
